Canoe Hire
The hire includes paddles, life vests and cleaning sponge. Multi-day hires includes a shovel, garbage bag and loan of tour map.
Transport Charges
Transport (Klarälven)
Transport is available for both guests hiring equipment from Klarälven Kanot or paddlers who bring their own canoe or kayak. The transport charge normally covers up to 6 people and 6 canoes/kayaks. We can transport larger groups by arrangement.
Guest’s cars can be parked free of charge at Byns Camping for the duration of your tour.
Transport Charges
For paddlers who want to complete the journey from Sysslebäck to Edebäck. We offer the additional service of picking them up at Edebäck and returning them to Byn for an additional 100 Kroner. You’re welcome to spend your last night paddling on the river at Byns Camping and leave your tent erected ready your return from Edebäck to Byn.

Premier Service
This service offers a complete package of canoe and camping equipment hire. The standard of equipment is excellent, Gatz Royalex canoes plus high quality tents sleeping bags/mats and cookers etc. We also include waterproof bags or barrels, shovel and maps. The Gatz Royalex canoes are light, strong and fast, they also handle extremely well. At between 30 to 35 kg they are over 10 kg lighter than the aluminium canoes used by many rental companies. Our aim is to meet the individual needs of our guests with this service, so please tell us what you would like to do and we will quote you a price to cover that need.
For your first and last night, you can choose to camp or rent a cabin at Byns Camping or we can book you into a local hotel.
The prices below are intended to give you an idea of the likely costs. We can offer this service for groups of up to 8 people.
PREMIER SERVICE PRICES are per person based on 2 people sharing canoe & tent.
Single Paddler Supplement +20% (Not part of a group)
Price includes canoe equipment, camping equipment, transport, map and wheels (if required).

We have been Quality Tour approved since 2009 and are an official canoe rental operation approved by the Swedish Canoe Federation (Svenska Kanot Förbundet).
In 2010, we became the first Swedish Partners in Leave No Trace.
Booking terms & Conditions
We require a 15% deposit to secure a booking. The payment can be made direct to our bank account or via PayPal. The balance is due on arrival at Byns and can be paid by cash or by Visa / Mastercard.
At least 1 adult must be responsible for each party.
All guest should be able to swim.
Swim vest must be worn by all guests.
Guests are responsible for any damage to rental equipment over and above normal wear & tear.
Damage items will be charged for at the full retail cost.
